Texturen Flackern/Spiegel Schwarz

  • Moin Moin,
    bei manchen Maps (z.B. Sudenhagen) Flackern die Texturen und die Rückspiegel sind ich manchen Himmelsrichtungen Schwarz, könnte mir einer sagen, wodran das liegen könnte? In der log konnte ich keine Fehler finden, was ich auch komisch finde, auf der Standard Map Funktioniert alles einwandfrei (kein Flackern, Spiegel funzen) :S

  • Das die Texturen flackern kann verschiedene Gründe haben. Meistens liegt es am falschen Texturformat. Auch wenn die Texturen alle im dds Format sind giebt es auch da noch Unterschiede und oft fehlen auch die mipmaps. Das die Spiegel manchmal schwarz werden liegt an der performance. Wenn zuviel Grafikspeicher gebraucht wird werden die halt "ausgeschaltet". Dein MAN sucht übrigens auch vergeblich nach einer Textur:

    Was ich nicht verstehen kann ist, das Display, Schriftzug vom z.B. New Holland Mähdrescher auch Flackert, das Problem habe ich nur auf dieser Map. Ich mein naja, ist halt noch ne Beta, trotzdem würde ich gerne wissen wo sowas dran liegen könnte? Was meinst du eigentlich mit zuviel Grafikspeicher? Liegt das an meinem Computer, oder an der Map? Was könnte man deswegen tuen?

    Die Grafikkarte muss ja alles Verarbeiten was man sieht und dazu braucht sie Arbeitsspeicher, wie dein Rechner auch. Wenn Maps, Objekte, Mods usw. sehr komplex gebaut sind (viele Polys-sehr detaillierte Darstellung der Objekte) und oder auch noch große Texturdateien haben, braucht sie halt sehr viel Speicher. An deinem computer liegt das nur in sofern ob er viel oder wenig Speicher hat. Ich persönlich würde an meinem System nichts verändern nur weil irgendwelche Mods nicht laufen, wenn sie verpfuscht sind nützt das eh nichts, erst wenn Programme die ich nutzen will (z.B. der LS) nicht mehr Lauffähig sind aufgrund zu geringer Leistung würde ich aufstocken (Komponenten tauschen, Neukauf).
    Das die Texturen vom NH Drescher auf dieser Map flackern kann halt am hohen Speicherbedarf der Map insgesamt liegen, muss aber nicht. Es ist immer sehr schwierig zu sagen warum geht das hier und hier nicht, da spielen immer sehr viele unterschiedliche Faktoren zusammen und machen eine eindeutige Ursachenfindung sehr schwierig.
